Everybody wants self-motivated workers to perform and execute with excellence. Everyone wants their employees to learn the job well and act using good judgment. Few things are more frustrating for a leader than having employees that wait to be told before they will act. So how do we get employees to step up and take the responsibility for the work that they have been hired to do? It's not always that easy.
